Salary: Premises Officer Level 2
Grade 4, point 7 - 10 - £25,584 to £27,269
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year including holiday entitlement.
The role operates Monday to Friday on a two-shift pattern of 5.45am-1.45pm and 10am-6pm.
The successful candidate will be joining a team of three Premises Officers and a Site Manager who operate on a three-shift pattern of 5.45am to 1.45pm, 10am to 6pm and 2pm to 10pm.
The role will predominantly alternate weekly between a two-shift pattern of 5.45am-1.45pm and 10am-6pm. There will also be occasional evening and weekend work to cover events, holiday and cover of other staff in their absence.
We are looking to appoint a Premises Officer Level 2 on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be a hardworking, dedicated team player that has a positive approach to problem solving. This role will involve day to day monitoring of the security and safety of the site alongside maintaining the fabric of the building and grounds.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skillset:
- Competent DIY skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent team working skills
- Competency to work independently using their own initiative
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving tasks
- Interpersonal skills to deal with contractors, staff, students and visitors
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety
- Flexibility to cover other shifts as and when necessary
- A positive and friendly approach
The successful candidate will receive both internal and external training to support them in their role.
